Today, a new OINP (Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program) Express Entry draw issued 2,359 invitations to claim provincial nominations.

In today’s OINP draw, Express Entry profiles with experience in one of 15 tech occupations are invited under the Human Capital Priorities Stream (HCP).

This draw sent the highest number of invitations ever sent in a single OINP HCP draw and the second highest overall in 2023 OINP Express Entry draws.

Profiles with a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score between 473 and 480 bagged an invitation to accept provincial nominations from Ontario.

Given that profiles having experience in one of the 24 STEM occupations with a CRS score of 481 received direct invitations in the last IRCC Express Entry draw, OINP utilized that draw as a reference and invited candidates with CRS scores lower than that.

Express Entry profiles meeting the above-listed criteria created between December 14, 2022, and December 14, 2023 were considered for the OINP draw today.

Candidates that are invited in today’s draw will have 45 days to respond with a complete application in order to accept provincial nominations.

After gaining an OINP nomination, these profiles will gain 600 points, increasing the CRS score to between 1,073 and 1,080, making their selection in the next Express Entry draw guaranteed.
